I also ordered the PINK one and received the BLUE one, I think there may be a glitch on this page. I’m hosting a baby shower in my home state so I had the cake shipped to my dads house and asked him to open it to make sure it’s the correct color because on the tracking page it shows in blue and sure enough it was blue. Amazon customer service was great and did a 1 day shipping for free in the hopefully the correct color we’ll see tomorrow!
Need advice on decorating and recipes for a Fall/Halloween Themed Baby Shower?
Hi everyone,I was hoping I could turn to all of you and get ideals for decorating (on a budget) a Halloween/Fall Themed baby shower coming up Oct. 18th?We are looking for a mixture of Fall and Halloween (cute and a little scary here and there) and Baby.The place the baby shower will be held is a small 2 story house in a country setting (lots of baby shower centerpieces land and privacy). The living room in this house has vaulted slanted ceilings (no flat ceiling like traditionally seen) with the high high walls and a partially open area to the upstairs. So, it would be hard to hang anything from the ceiling where it is so tall and slanted.Here is what we have come up with so far: Garland on the stairway banisters (seen as you come in the front door) possibly with orange/purple or white lights, pumpkins, gourds, streamers, balloons (of course) and for a nice large centerpiece for the main food table; a lighted vase with dead Branch's sticking out in all sizes (painted black with purple glitter)... Other than that we are stuck and don't know what else to try to add a nice "mood" to everything.We are, also, looking for recipes that one might use for such an occassion.Any help is greatly appreciated.Thanks

What on earth does this double heading means? How can she possibly write about two subjects at once? I think she has lost it! This must be what you are thinking when you are reading this headline, I know. Thinking about decorating ideas for baby shower does not have to be a problem. Do not be bound by convention and think of any theme you like. Keep the mommy-to-be’s likes and dislikes in mind. Her sense of humor will also baby shower centerpieces play a very big role in your choice. If you are thinking about a humorous theme with humorous decorations and a humorous centerpiece, you better make sure she will find it funny.
What is always good is to incorporate the seasons and holidays into your theme and thus into your decorations. Doing it this way ensures that you will not have any trouble getting hold of the supplies you need. It is always very easy to give any seasonal or holiday theme a “baby” twist, even Halloween!
Baby Showers Centerpieces:
Once you have decided on a theme for your baby shower and you know which decorations you are going to use, it is easy to think of a centerpiece. Once again, it does not have to be that unique! As long as it fits in with all the other decorations and add to the festivity it is fine.
It is good to keep in mind that even the well know “diaper” cake can be made to fit in with any theme with a few good addition to it’s decorations. Always make sure that the decorations can be removed easily and completely from the diapers otherwise the mommy-to-be will not be able to actually use the diapers!
So, now you know shy I think about decorating ideas for baby shower and baby showers centerpieces in the same breath.

I ordered a PINK baby girl’s Diaper Cake for her baby shower. Someone must be color blind or simply complacent as I rec’d a cake all decked out in bright baby boy blue ribbons and blue boy accents. Normally I wouldnt care but it was ordered express and I had only 4 business days to reorder. Iwas told that delivery on time could not be guaranteed. Thank god I ordered from Amazon because they checked and confirmed the error and immediately refunded my money. If I had gone directly thru a vendor I am not at all sure that I would have rec’d such prompt and fair resolution to my problem. No I did not have the big beautiful centerpiece that I oprdered, but I was not worrying about whether iwould be able to have my money refunded. Thank you Amazon. You have a grateful and committed future customer.
